Neighborhood Challenge Grant Program

Do you and your neighbors have ideas to beautify and upgrade your neighborhood, create a safer environment, but just don’t have the funds and know-how to move forward?

The City of Auburn has created a program to help improve your neighborhood by offering grants to neighborhood groups and organizations to make improvements on public property located within the Union St, Downtown and New Auburn Census Tracts. 

Add park benches, create a gateway sign, improve crosswalks, or plant a garden. Grants are available for projects of $1,000 and up to $10,000. 

Applications will be processed periodically and be reviewed by the Citizen Advisory Committee.

Innovative ideas and unique designs are welcomed!
