Third Space Incentive Program

The Third Space Incentive Program (TSIP) is designed to incentivize the creation of privately owned locations or regularly organized events in public spaces, fostering a sense of belonging and connection among residents. TSIP supports the development of unique spaces that go beyond work and home, providing open areas that promote community gathering and facilitate the formation of genuine relationships. These spaces, driven by various forms and business models, serve as inclusive hubs for hosting community-building activities and programs. Application accepted until August 1.

Commercial Agriculture Incentive Program

The Commercial Agriculture Incentive Program will provide up to $5,000 in forgivable loans to assist new or existing agriculture operations start or expand their local food production. This initiative aligns with goals established within the city Comprehensive Plan which aim to “ensure that fresh, local food is equitably accessible to everyone regardless of income or geography” (Objective K.1.1) by “supporting practices that facilitate access to healthy food in residential settings” (Objective K.1.3).

Neighborhood Corner Store Grants

The purpose of the Neighborhood Corner Store program is to support the establishment or expansion of essential corner stores which derive most of their revenues from the sale of food and groceries. Micro Enterprise Business Loan

This program is designed to provide access to small businesses and start-ups. It is a streamlined, low barrier program designed to provide access to capital for businesses not traditionally bankable.
