November 3, 2020 - General (Presidential) and Potential State Referendum Election

and

Special Municipal Election (Ward 1 School Committee Member for Ward 1 Voters Only)

Polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM

If you are uncertain about where you vote, either contact the Office of the City Clerk by calling 333-6600 

Absentee ballots are available 30 days before the election and may be requested in writing, by phone, online, or in person. If you are asking to receive your ballot by mail, please request it early enough to allow for postal mail delivery time - both to receive it and return it (2-5 days each way).
  • You can request an absentee ballot by calling your Municipal Clerk's office at 207-333-6600.
  •  You may submit a written request by downloading the Abentee Ballot Request Form here.
  • You can request an absentee ballot online or by mail from the Secretary of State's website*:

*Please note, this online service is being updated for the November 3, 2020 General Election, and will be available by mid-August.

  • Ballots must be returned to the Municipal Clerk no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day.
