The Auburn Fire Department has three fully-staffed fire stations that are manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are 64 full-time firefighters/EMTs/Paramedics who respond to approximately 5,000 fire, EMS and emergency calls annually. There are six administrative personnel whose offices are located at Central Station on Minot Avenue.
In addition to servicing the Auburn area, the Fire Department also has mutual aid agreements with Durham, Lewiston, Minot, New Gloucester, Poland and Turner. These agreements provide support to area Fire Departments during fires and emergency calls to ensure adequate fire protection and emergency personnel for all communities.

Our Fire Stations are Temporarily Closed to the Public
The AFD is currently doing everything we can to keep our staff healthy and prepared to respond to emergencies. In order to accomplish this, we’ve decided to temporarily close our fire stations to the public. If you have a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Many thanks to our Auburn residents for your understanding as we all work together to get thru this situation.
