Attention Business Owners

The 2020 Personal Property Filing Deadline is Extended

Due to the current Covid-19 outbreak, the deadline to file your business personal property return has been extended. The filing deadline was April 15, 2020. The deadline has been extended to June 15, 2020 due to Governor’s emergency declaration.

If you are no longer in business, it is very important that you notify us. You may contact the assessing division to update your business status by phone: (207) 333-6601 ext 1114 or by e mail: assessing@auburnmaine.gov 

Businesses who do not file will be rendered an estimated assessment based on a comparable business or an added growth factor.
