2019 State Homestead Reimbursement update

Are you waiting for a homestead reimbursement check from the State Treasurer?

The State Treasurer announced that they would be processing reimbursement checks beginning on January 7, 2020, the first batch was mailed shortly thereafter. To date not all eligible Auburn residents have received a check. The Assessing Department is aware of delays. We have been in contact with the State Treasurer’s Office and were told that not all the Tax Relief checks have been mailed to Auburn residents. If you have not received an expected check, please be patient - you should receive it shortly.
