MASON’S BREWING COMPANY TO OPEN AUBURN DISTILLERY AND RESTAURANT

City and craft brewery announce the start of a “brew-tiful” relationship

AUBURN – The City of Auburn and Mason’s Brewing Company are delighted to announce that Mason’s will be expanding their widely successful Maine brand into the heart of beautiful downtown Auburn.

Mason’s will occupy the ground and first floors of the exciting new mixed-use facility being built at 186 Main Street by Great Falls Construction.
The location, situated along the Androscoggin River, will feature a brewery, distillery, and an upscale dining experience similar to Mason’s current location in Brewer.

“At Mason’s, we take deep pride in creating the perfect beer with precision, hard work and quality ingredients,” says Chris Morley, Mason’s owner and brewer. “We are excited to expand our brand in Auburn and to connect with this community.”

This collaboration has been in the works for a while now, according to Jay Brenchick, Auburn’s Director of Economic Development. “I have been working with Chris for two years to get this project off the ground at this site and couldn’t be more pleased that it has become a reality.”

Auburn Mayor Jason Levesque is particularly excited about the news that Mason’s is coming to Auburn. “Masons is a great example of a high-end, existing operation that sees real value in expansion into Auburn due to our city’s growth and business-friendly policies,” said Levesque.

Mason’s Auburn location is expected to open in late spring/early summer 2023.
