Overview
The City of Auburn has initiated an extensive housing study in collaboration with HR&A Advisors, a nationally recognized firm. This study aims to provide a thorough understanding of the community's housing needs and to ensure that future development aligns with the demands of the growing population.
In response to rising housing costs, shifting demographics, and new state policies promoting housing production, Auburn is utilizing its federal funds to develop data-driven solutions aimed at fostering a diverse, affordable, and sustainable housing market.
This study will help identify:
✅ The types of homes needed in Auburn
✅ Housing affordability challenges and solutions
✅ Projected housing demand based on job and population trends
✅ Policies to support smart growth and housing investment
