Ward 4 Councilor KELLY BUTLER

Kelly is a current member of Auburn's Comprehensive Planning Committee. As a Behavioral Health Regional Director, Kelly holds professional licensures as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor. For more than 25 years, Kelly has dedicated herself to acquiring the education, professional experience and leadership skills essential to building collaborative, responsive and fiscally sound communities. A native of Vermont, in 1987 Kelly moved to Maine where she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Orono and later her graduate degree from Lewis and Clark College. In the private sector Kelly has had the opportunity to develop systems, budgetary and quality management skills working in the small business community and the corporate engineering, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. In the non-profit sector Kelly has administered and supported individuals, children and families affected by emotional health, addiction, chronic homelessness and domestic violence experiences through residential and outpatient programs. Kelly is committed to engaging in neighbor-to-neighbor conversations, and promoting the fiscal, environmental, physical and emotional health of communities. She and her family live in Auburn's Ward 4 district
