Reminder:  Today, November 1, 2012 is the last day to order an absentee ballot for the November 6, 2012 Presidential Election.    This is a statewide deadline that is applicable to all municipalities in Maine.   

Our City Clerk’s Offices will be open until 7:00pm on the deadline date to enable residents to come into the office to vote in person or to pick up an absentee ballot for themselves or a family member.   Residents may also call to order an absentee ballot, and one will be mailed to their residence.    

Absentee ballots must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 8:00pm on election night.  Any absentee ballots turned in after 8:00pm on November 6, 2012 will not be counted.
