Parks

Parks in Auburn, Maine (see the list to the left) includes open spaces and facilities, developed and managed by the Public Works Department. Auburn offers many parks for citizens and visitors to visit.  Many of our parks include benches, playground equipment and of course, green space!

The Public Works Department manages many parks and green spaces covering more than 500 acres of land throughout the city. This extensive network of parks also includes connecting ponds and or rivers.

Facilities

The Public Works Department also maintains many special-use facilities for activities such as movies in the park, festivals, baseball and skating just to name a few.

Green Spaces

Auburn’s wealth of green space afforded by the City is further enhanced by a network of open spaces containing ponds and rivers that have been set aside as natural areas along the city's periphery.
