Parking Ban Implemented!

The City of Auburn has declared a parking ban for Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 7:00pm until Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 6:00am.

The purpose of the ban is to remove vehicles from the streets so City crews have unobstructed access to all areas for snow plowing and ice control activities. Vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense when found to be in violation.

The storm is predicted to start during the early morning commute and last throughout the day. We are encouraging motorists to drive safely and take the extra time needed.

During all snowstorms, we ask motorists - regardless of a parking ban - to limit parking on side streets. Parking on narrow streets may delay the plowing of those streets until all vehicles have been removed.
