New Member, Board of Assessment Review

Welcome Candice D'Amour, New Board Member!

The City of Auburn, Board of Assessment Review consists of five regular members and three alternate-members. Members are appointed by the Auburn City Council. The Board of Assessment Review hears and decides on tax abatement appeals in accordance with Title 36 MRS § 843.

We are pleased to welcome new alternate-member Candace D’Amour to the board.

Board members are volunteers; their participation is vital to a well-functioning and fair appeal process. We wish to thank Candice and all the Board Members for their generous commitment.

The current Board of Assessment Review member roster includes: Levi Gervais, Larry Pelletier, Amy Dieterich, Mary J LaFontaine, and Jason L Sirois. Candace D’Amour is the current alternate.

We have two vacant alternate positions, interested citizens should contact the Assessing Office or any City Official for more information.
