Citizens of Auburn are invited to celebrate with us!

Saturday, May 23

9:30am - Bring the family to the Memorial Day Parade!  The route begins at Kennedy Park in Lewiston and it will continue on to Chestnut Street, Lisbon Street, and Main Street, over the Longley Bridge and around Great Falls Plaza in Auburn.  It will return and end at Veterans Park in Lewiston. The ceremony will feature stone unveiling, bench unveiling, entertainment, placing of wreaths, speeches, branches of the military songs, taps, prayer, etc.

Monday, May 25

1:00pm - Experience Auburn by participating in "Decoration Day" at Oak Hill Cemetery in Auburn ("Decoration Day" was the original name for Memorial Day). Auburn residents, families, and friends from neighboring communities are invited to attend this event and give thanks to our veterans.   Presented by local veterans and the City of Auburn, this ceremony begins at 1:00pm and will last approximately 45 minutes.

2:00pm - 4:00pm - Auburn's very own Central Fire Station located at 550 Minot Avenue will be hosting a Decoration Day Open House.  Stop by for this FREE event. There will be displays, equipment to view and many other activities.   Light refreshments will be served.
