The personal property 706 business asset list request forms will be mailed out in early March to all businesses in Auburn. Maine State Law requires all business to file their personal propety asset list with their municipality every year. The Business Equipment Tax Exemption application will also be included in this mailing. Assets can include but are not limited to machinery, furniture, fixtures, office and business equipment, computers and trailers. The forms will need to be returned to the Assessors office no later than April 15, 2014 to avoid a non compliance assessment.
