Auburn Winter Festival January 26-28

The Auburn Recreation Department is delighted to announce that Auburn’s Winter Festival will be held on the weekend of January 26, 27 and 28. This annual community “celebration of all things winter” will feature a variety of events all weekend long, most of them free to the public! Spotlight Events:
On Friday night, join us at Lost Valley for “Family Fun Night at the Mountain,” featuring various activities for the whole family.

Saturday, families will want to check out the “Kids Activity Zone” in downtown Auburn at Festival Plaza, where there will be a snow mountain, petting zoo, live ice sculpture demonstrations, kid’s band, and more from 11:00AM - 2:00PM.

On Saturday evening, “The Roopers WinterFest Party Tent, home of the Gritty’s Ice Bar and L/A Harley Stage” will be open from 5:00 - 9:00PM at Festival Plaza. The Roopers Tent will feature cocktails and live music for adults 21 and over. Tickets are $10, sold in advance with a cash bar and music provided by The Farm House Project and the L/A Harley Band.

On Sunday, the United New Auburn Association will host a family sledding and skating event at Sherwood Heights School from 11:00AM - 2:00PM. Folks will also enjoy the St. Dom’s Winter Carnival and Open House from 2:00 - 4:30PM at St. Dom’s on Gracelawn Avenue.
