Ward 5 Councilor Leroy G. Walker, Sr. 

About

Leroy Walker grew up in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School. He worked for 39 years for the City of Auburn as a Parks Superintendent for the Parks and Recreation Department. Councilor Walker has also served on numerous boards and committees throughout the years, including the United New Auburn Association, Central Maine Dart League, Independent Pool League, and the New Auburn Social Club. 

Leroy is extremely proud of his children, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

While serving as Ward 5 Councilor, Leroy hopes to serve the taxpayers of Auburn with dignity and pride. He is confident that he and the rest of the Auburn Council will accomplish great things while in office. 

Councilor Walker serves on the following boards/committees:

• L-A 911 Committee
• Maine Waste to Energy Board
• Age-Friendly Community Committee
