The Auburn City Council has adopted four policies to define actions with respect to meeting certain federal regulations.
The Citizen Participation Plan defines the City's efforts to create a collaborative process whereby citizens assist in developing a vision for community development actions. The plan provides an opportunity for Auburn citizens to participate in various processes of the Community Development Program.
The Fair Housing and Affirmative Marketing Policy identifies actions to ensure nondiscrimination and equal opportunity in housing. The policy assists local landlords, social service providers, realtors, tenants and people with limited English proficiency.
The Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan identifies benefits and advisory services that are available when the City uses federal funds in an activitiy that results in displacement.
The Affordable Rent Policy describes how rents will be maintained as affordable to low- and moderate-income households.
