City Property For Sale

In the event that the City has property or real estate for sale, information will be posted here.  City property may include surplus equipment that is no longer needed by the municipality. Real Estate is typically acquired two ways:

  1. We tax acquire it
  2. Our Community Development Department purchases a foreclosure

Depending on how the City acquires the real estate will determine the process citizens will use to purchase it.  Please see the details below:

General appearance improvements included painting, replacing countertops, and floor covering.  The City is prepared to sell these properties to low and moderate income families. A financing package is developed to make the home affordable by combining Bank and City financing.
