Traffic Alert

UPDATE: PAVING CANCELLED FOR THIS WEEK. Project will be rescheduled to a later date, weather permitting.

BERNARD LOWN PEACE BRIDGE PAVING DETOUR: Cedar Street in Lewiston and Broad Street in Auburn will be closed for paving in the southbound direction only (toward Auburn) this Friday morning (temps permitting), hopefully by 9:00AM, and again on Saturday. This is a two-day surface paving operation.

The detour will direct vehicles onto Lincoln Street and across the Longley Memorial Bridge (Main Street) into Auburn, and is expected to remain in place until 3:30 PM. Please seek alternate routes and expect delays!

Please note that Broad and Cedar Streets will remain open heading into Lewiston. This closure and detour applies only to traffic heading toward Auburn.

The work is weather dependent: rain or low temperatures could delay this work.
