Traffic Delays

Springtime means road races! Several upcoming community events will lead to traffic delays in Auburn. Motorists are encouraged to note the following dates/times and seek alternate routes:

Saturday, April 21 - "MS Walk Auburn” road walk

Start time: 10:00AM at Edward Little High School.

Road closures: Court Street @ Harris Street and Granite Street (estimated 15 minute closure) and Court Street @ Russell Avenue (estimated 15 minute closure)

Sunday, April 22 - "Mariah's Run 5K" road race

Start time: 8:30AM at Edward Little High School

Road closures: Court Street @ Harris Street (estimated 15 minute closure) and Court Street @ Western Avenue (intermittently) *Gamage Avenue and Western Avenue will have one lane partially closed*

Saturday, May 5 - "St. Mary's Commit to Get Fit" 3K/5K/10K/15K

Start time: 8:00AM at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center (Gracelawn Road)

Road closures: Both ends of Gracelawn Road will be closed.  There will be a temporary closure of Mt. Auburn Avenue from Gracelawn Road to Park Avenue.  The outbound portion of Summer Street from Mt. Auburn to West Auburn Road will be closed until race is finished.
