Lake Auburn Neighborhood Watch & Watershed Protection Public Meeting

  • August 21, 2017

Join the Auburn Police Department for a meeting of the Lake Auburn Neighborhood Watch!

Wednesday, September 6 at 6:00pm at the West Auburn Congregational Church

All are welcome at this public meeting, which will feature special guests from the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission. The Commission is seeking public input and suggestions for use of existing trails on Commission property.

Lake Auburn is the only public drinking water supply for the Cities of Auburn and Lewiston. The Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission controls 2,200 acres through direct ownership and conservation easements within the Lake Auburn Watershed.

This is an important topic to all area residents, and we encourage you to attend this meeting and to invite your neighbors.

Following the public session, the NW meeting will close with the usual city and police department updates. There has been a lot of activity in Auburn over the summer, with a lot of new faces joining City staff. Lt. Timothy Cougle will give updates on some of these changes.

See you on Septemeber 6th!
