Curbside collection of residential trash & recycling will not take place on Christmas Day (12/25). Instead, there will be a special pick-up on Saturday, December 28. As always, be sure to have all items curbside by 7:00AM.
Collection will take place as usual on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2020.
During this season of presents and bows, please remember that the shiny, laminated wrapping paper is usually not recyclable. A good way to test is to crush the wrapping paper into a ball. If it stays bunched up, it is more than likely recyclable.
Before recycling, be sure to remove any tape and decorations such as ribbons and bows. If wrapping paper is metallic, has glitter on it, or has a texture to it, it needs to go in the trash.
