UPDATED: Cancellations, City Parking Ban & Public Services Press Release Regarding Trash on 1/27

Due to the impending blizzard tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, there are multiple cancellations to announce:

• Trash and Recycling:  There will be no trash or recycling collection in the city on 1/27, but an alternate pickup day has been scheduled...press release. 
• Parking Ban:  Effective at 8:00am on Tuesday 01/27/15, there will be a parking ban on all roadways within the City of Auburn. This parking ban will remain in effect until 3:00pm, Wednesday 01/28/15.  Any vehicles parked in violation of this ban will be towed. This will be a significant snow event. Please plan accordingly and stay off the roads if at all possibl
• Bus Services: L-A Transit Committee will shut down bus transit operations in both Lewiston and Auburn on Tuesday, January 27 (UPDATED - This previously said that the bus system would be shut down for part of Wednesday - we've been notified that the buses should be running on schedule on Wednesday)
