Traffic/Weather Advisory from the Auburn PD

Heavy rain is forecasted in this area for this afternoon followed by a severe cold front that will send temperatures plummeting below the freezing mark by 5pm. This is going to create very treacherous traveling conditions tonight. Clogged storm drains have led to standing water on some of our roads. We are asking people to stay off the roads tonight.

Public Works is working hard to keep the roads safe and storm drains clear, but Mother Nature simply is not cooperating. Please stay off the roads tonight and Public Works will have them ready for your morning commute tomorrow.
