Informational Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 8

The City of Auburn is hosting an informational meeting on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 to present the latest information on efforts to improve traffic safety and vehicle access on Route 4 in East Auburn and at the Lake Shore Drive intersection. This meeting will be an opportunity to receive public input on safety and access issues at these locations. The meeting will be held in the Community Room at Auburn Hall and will begin at 5:30 PM.
The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) has conducted a series of analyses to determine which previously discussed alternatives improve safety and access at these two locations. Officials from MaineDOT and City staff will be available at the meeting to discuss the scope of the studies and listen to comments and concerns. The City of Auburn encourages people who frequently use Route 4 in the East Auburn area to attend the meeting.
