Reminder: Public Info Session Scheduled: Repurposing Ingersoll Arena

AUBURN RECREATION ANNOUNCES PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION TO DISCUSS REPURPOSING OF INGERSOLL ARENA

The City of Auburn Recreation & Special Events Advisory Board would like to invite Auburn residents and interested user groups to attend a public info session on the repurposing of Ingersoll Arena. The info session will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 6:00pm at the Hasty Community Center. The Advisory Board has recommended the facility be converted to an indoor turf facility and seeks feedback on this repurposing recommendation from citizens and any potential user groups. 

The first part of the session will be for Auburn residents who have an interest in recreational opportunities- utilizing the turf facility for recreation programming through the Auburn Recreation Division. 

Immediately following the open session, there will be an opportunity for any group(s) who may be interested in renting the facility. Potential user groups can be, but are not limited to: schools, colleges, adult leagues, youth leagues, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, softball, soccer, running, as well as, senior citizen groups.
