Nomination Papers are Available

Nomination papers for the Ward 4 School Committee seat are available in the City Clerk's Office. This is to fill the remaining term of this vacated seat (due to a resignation). The term expiration is December of 2019. All nomination papers must be filed with the Clerk no later than 4:30 P.M. on February 7, 2019 (75 days prior to the election per Auburn Charter). No less than 25 signatures of qualified voters from Ward 4 is required. On or before February 15, 2019 the City Clerk must certify and make available to the public the names and residences of candidates who have filed nomination petitions. The Election will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 and is for Ward 4 residents only. For more information, please contact the City Clerk's Office.
