New sales are posted!

It has been a while, but we have posted new sales through June 2017. We had a near record amount of sales/transfer in June for a total of 75!

We post sales after receiving them from the State of Maine; the real estate sales and transfers from January through June, 2017 are now available.  To see the updated sales and transfers list, please visit the Assessing Page - click on  ‘2017 Sales and Transfers’ in the left hand column or click here for a PDF Sales and Transfer through June 2017

As always, the posted list includes both sales and transfers. You will find good open market sales and real estate transfers with no consideration paid. Included in the list are: open market sales, private party sales, corrective deeds, family transfers, divorce transfers, package sales, inter-LLC transfers, foreclosures and more.

While the some types of transfers are not considered 'arms-length' (NAL) - our list does not report a finding whether any sale or transfer was an arms-length-transaction (ALT) or not.

We compile the list of sales and transfers from the monthly State of Maine Transfer Tax Declarations. The Assessing Office regards the information to be correct, but does not certify the data. Any user of the sales and transfer list is responsible for their own verification of transfer terms and conditions.
