LATC is Soliciting Proposals from Qualified Transit Firms...

The Lewiston-Auburn Transit Committee (LATC), owners of citylink, Lewiston and Auburn’s fixed route public transit system, Lewiston-Auburn, Maine, is soliciting proposals from qualified transit firms to provide operations and maintenance for fixed route and ADA complementary paratransit services.

LATC owns 10 buses, of which 7 buses are operated daily serving 9 routes.  LATC’s fixed route operates Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 6:45 pm, and on Saturday from 9:15 am to 5:15 pm.  This is for a 3-year contract with 2 additional option years effective October 1, 2013.

Proposals shall be accepted at the AVCOG offices no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.  Proposals received after this deadline will be returned unopened.
