Hurricane Sandy Advisory

Monday, October 29, 2012 8:47 AM
Weather conditions will dictate road closures along the river and other low lying areas. With the expected high winds, we are urging citizens to stay off the roads during the storm (unless travel is absolutely necessary) because of the potential for falling trees and downed power lines. As a reminder, driving over roads which are covered with water is dangerous.

Power outages -
To report an outage or trouble with your service please call 1-800-696-1000
Questions or comments regarding your power should be directed to 1-800-750-4000

Shelters -
The Androscoggin County Emergency Management is standing by should we need to open area shelters during the storm.

We ask residents of Auburn to be alert and stay informed of changing weather conditions.
Any emergencies should be reported to the L-A Communication Center by dialing 9-1-1.
We urge anyone with calls of a non-urgent nature to call our non-emergency phone number, 207-784-7331.
