Dog Licenses Expire December 31, 2013

A reminder that all dog licenses expire on December 31st of each year. The cost to license your dog is $6.00 for a dog that is spayed or neutered and $11.00 for those that are not. Additional late fees are imposed for dogs that are not licensed on or before January 31st. To receive a dog license, you will need to provide a copy of the State of Maine rabies certificate, a spay or neuter certificate if your dog has been "fixed". The State of Maine requires that all dogs be licensed when the dog reaches 6 months of age, or within 10 days of ownership. 2014 dog licenses are available in the Tax Office.
