December Sales are Online

The final month of sales is now posted to the website.  To view the December sales, please visit the Assessing Page - click on ‘2015 Sales and Transfers’ in the left hand menu.

As always the list includes sales and transfers alike. You will find fully executed sales as well as transfers with no consideration paid such as corrective deeds, family transfers, divorce transfers, foreclosures and more. The list does not include any determination whether the sales are arms-length-transactions or not.

The list of sales and transfers is initially obtained via the monthly State of Maine Transfer Tax Declarations. The Assessing Office regards the information to be correct, but does not certify the data. Any user of the sales and transfer list is responsible for their own verification of transfer terms and conditions.
