Community Warming Center

The City of Auburn has decided to open a Community Warming Center at Hasty Community Center (Auburn Recreation Department), 48 Pettengill Park Road.

At the Warming Center, residents can drop in, warm up, take a shower, charge their cell phones & other devices, etc.

The Center will be open until 8:00pm this evening, from 8:00am to 8:00pm Thursday, and from 8:00am - 6:00pm Friday. Please be sure to bring your own shampoo, towels, phone chargers, and any other personal items needed.

Transportation to the Community Warming Center is available. Please call ahead to make arrangements: 207-333-6601 X2101.

Please share this information with neighbors & friends who may not have access to the internet. There is no cost to visit the Warming Center and all Auburn residents are welcome. No pets, please.

*Please note: this is NOT an overnight shelter.

The team at the Auburn Public Library reminds residents that they can help with charging devices AND they also have computers available for people to check emails, pay bills, etc.
