Auburn's Age-Friendly Designation

Auburn is, officially, the first community in Androscoggin County to join the Network of Age-Friendly Communities and the 55th community to join in Maine! Representatives of AARP Maine will be at the City Council meeting on July 16 (7:00PM/Council Chambers) to commemorate this achievement and present a certificate. The public is welcome to attend! If you can't join us, tune in on our YouTube channel or on Great Falls TV. 

Help us continue our Age-Friendly efforts in Auburn by attending a meeting of the Mayor's Ad Hoc Committee on Age-Friendly Community. Our next meeting is July 17 at 5:30PM at the Senior Community Center at Auburn Recreation (Pettengill Park).
