Auburn Public Library Director to Speak at New Auburn Meeting

Auburn Public Library Director Mamie Anthoine Ney will be the guest speaker at the United New Auburn Association monthly meeting on Tuesday, 24 June 2014 at 6 PM at Rolly's Diner. 

Prior to coming to Auburn Ms. Ney was the Maine State Library’s Southern Maine Library District consultant. Previously, she was the director at the South Berwick Public Library and the assistant director/adult services librarian at the Kennebunk Free Library.  She received her Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina in 2008.She has experience in law, accounting, banking, and manufacturing.  She is married and an avid sports fan (Go Irish!), needle worker, and reader (of course!). She is a member of the Maine Readers’ Choice Award committee. 

The public is welcome to attend. There will be a drawing for a $25 cash prize. To win you must be present at the time of the drawing.
