Are you renting, but dreaming of owning your own home? The Community Development Department has a program to help you purchase a home. A minimum of $25,000 in household income is required. Maximum income is based on family size and HUD income limits.
The HOMEBuyer Program is designed to assist people who want to own a home but need financial assistance in addition to Bank Financing. We offer a HOME SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA) Program to help you save over a period of 6 months or more. For every $1 you save we will match it with $2. We also offer loans of up to $15,000 at 0% interest.
We offer a Good Neighbor Start-Up Grant. You can qualify for up to $1,000 for moving expenses and/or appliances.
We also offer budget and credit counseling free of charge!
